“Employees are our most important asset” can be frequently heard in most organizations, but often only as a shallow commitment. It is seldom that an organization, like Crouse Hospital, embraces this “fact” with such commitment that a total transformation and philosophical change takes place ... and made a major strategic commitment by the senior leadership team.

We know that to attract and hire the best people who are motivated to care for the sick with compassion and to serve with enthusiasm, we as an organization need to be a workplace that engages and energizes staff. Therefore, the Hospital is currently in the process of a comprehensive, nontraditional strategic planning process that takes the “view of our three major customer group” to drive our strategies and action plans.
