Breast cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in women in the U.S. According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 280,000 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
To help raise awareness about these statistics and what women can do to protect themselves, Crouse Hospital, with grant funding from Susan G. Komen for the Cure – Central New York, is hosting the 2nd annual "Mammograms & More: Ladies Night Out."
Attendees will be able to enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and desserts, as well as gifts and a chance to win drawings and door prizes. Participation in the program is free, but pre-registration is required.
Parking is free at the Marley Education Center and Crouse Hospital garages.
