Computer Based Training Modules (CBTs) allow you to work at your own pace with interactive modular lessons on the computer. Each module will take one- two hours to complete. Choose from the following tutorials:
Word XP (Introduction, Intermediate or Advanced)
PowerPoint XP (Introduction, Intermediate or Advanced)
Excel XP (Introduction, Intermediate or Advanced)
Access XP (Introduction, Intermediate or Advanced)
CBTs are available in the Library on a drop-in basis during regular library hours.
School of Nursing
The School of Nursing Computer Informatics Schedule includes two one-hour classes offered in the fall
and spring semesters of the first year. The 1st semester class, Knowledge Access for Nursing Education:
the CINAHL Database and the Lippincott Manuals, offers instruction on accessing and searching the
nursing database and the Lippincott Manuals. The 2nd semester class, Introduction to Hospital Policies
and Procedures, Drug and Patient Education Databases, offers instruction on how to retrieve Crouse
Hospital’s Policies and Procedures online using the Robohelp reader software, as well as drug and
patient education information resources.
