Congratulations to Dawn Jolly, a certified surgical technologist at Crouse Hospital's Madison Irving Surgery Center, who was recently chosen by the Crouse Health Foundation as the recipient of the seventh annual Umeshchandra Patil Family Educational Award. She was presented the award Sept. 28 by President & CEO Paul Kronenberg, MD.
Each year, the Patil Award provides up to $3,500 to a Crouse nurse or technician who wants to pursue continuing education, professional development and training in the area of surgical services.
Dawn will use the stipend to attend the 2012 Association of Surgical Technologists’ National Conference in Washington, DC, and will share information on that experience with other members of the Surgical Services Department when she returns. Our gratitude goes to the Patil Family for their generous support and this meaningful investment in the Crouse organization.
