(HealthDay News) -- Fever, vomiting and diarrhea can all lead to
dehydration, especially when under-the-weather little ones aren't
interested in eating and drinking.
The Nemours Foundation offers these tips for parents to keep
sick kids well-hydrated:
- If your child has a sore throat, offer acetaminophen or
ibuprofen to ease pain and make eating and drinking more
- Offer popsicles and cold drinks that may feel good on a
painful, burning throat.
