(HealthDay News) -- Physical activity can help people with
diabetes lose weight and better control their blood sugar, but
there's a right time and place.
The U.S. National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse
explains these "do's" and "don'ts" for diabetics who exercise:
- Dowork with your health care team to find the best time of
day for you to exercise.
- Doconsider factors such as your medications, meal plan and
daily schedule when figuring out the best time to exercise.
- Doexercise if you're a type 2 diabetic and your health care
team recommends it.
- Don'texercise when you have ketones in your urine or
