Call for Abstracts for Poster Presentations
Deadline: April 5, 2013
The Crouse Hospital College of Nursing invites you to send poster presentation abstracts for projects to be displayed at the college’s May 22 conference, "Building on a Century of Excellence: Shaping the Future with Evidence-Based Practice."
The conference will bring together national experts to present the latest on evidence-based practice for nurses, to network and to share the latest information and research in education, leadership and clinical practice.
You are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation on evidence-based practice or practice-related research. Posters will be on display in the exhibit hall for the full-day event, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Please send your electronic submission via email attachment to Crouse Hospital College of Nursing. Abstracts must be submitted by 5 p.m. (ET) April 5, 2013. We strongly recommend early submission of abstracts.
All submissions should include the following information:
• Proposed title
• Primary presenter: name, title, organization and contact information. Please use only one submitting author who will be the contact person for notification. Additional authors may be listed at the end.
• Abstracts are limited to no more than 500 words. Please include the following headings: purpose, rationale, methods, results and implications.
Abstracts received electronically by the deadline will be circulated to a team of reviewers. The program committee will select proposals that demonstrate the greatest potential for contributing to the quality of the conference. The primary presenter will receive notification of acceptance or denial by April 19, 2013.
Please be advised that all communications from the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing will only be with the primary presenter. This person will be expected to communicate with co-presenters, if applicable. Presenters must register for the conference and pay their own travel, hotel and other expenses, as well as the conference fee of $100; students $50.
