About The ProcedureEchocardiography involves the use of ultrasound in the investigation of the heart and major vessels and diagnosis of cardiovascular lesions.

Our echocardiography program performs over 3,000 studies annually.
Key Personnel
The department includes three RNs who are all registered diagnostic cardiac sonographers and were previously critical care nurses; one echocardiography/stress test technician and a medical secretary.

Location/HoursWe're located on the first floor of Crouse Hospital's Memorial Cardiac Care Center.
Hours for scheduled procedures are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, in emergent situations, the department staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
