About The Department
The electrocardiography department is responsible for all electrocardiograms done in the hospital, as well as 24-hour Holter monitor recordings and late potential studies (signal averaged ECGs). In addition, the department offers treadmill stress testing. The ECG department (aka EKG department) also cooperates with the nuclear medicine department in the performance of thallium and adenosine stress tests.

Location/Hours
Located in the Cardiac Care Center of Crouse Hospital's Memorial Unit, the ECG department is open 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday; and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday.24-hour coverage for emergent care is always available.
Cardiologist ordered stress tests can also be performed on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Inpatient tests are performed the day they are ordered, and outpatient tests are scheduled promptly.
