HelpPeoples Employee Assistance Program (EAP) program exists to provide individuals with help when personal problems affect their well-being or work performance. We espouse a comprehensive, early-intervention policy and, when necessary, refer to the most cost-effective, least restrictive resources available in the community.
Services are provided to more than 70,000 employees and their families from 100 organizations in Onondaga, Oneida, Oswego, Cayuga and Madison counties, including:

* Approximately 10% of clients call to discuss job and career issues.
* More than 60% of clients do not need referral beyond HelpPeople.

About Our Staff:
The HelpPeople program director is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional with more than 15 years in the EAP field. Our diverse staff of experienced counselors--all of whom are masters level professionals--some with advanced certifications also have experience in the areas of cultural diversity, eating disorders, marriage and family issues, domestic violence, children's issues, sexual victimization, substance abuse, and critical incident debriefings.
