Transfer Credit (Liberal Arts)

Transfer credit is determined by the Registrar, in consultation with the faculty for courses that have content and credit comparable to required courses. These courses must have been completed at an approved college, university or alternative program.

Eligibility for Transfer Credit

  • All science courses must have been completed within five years. There is no time limit for other liberal arts courses.
  • All courses submitted for transfer credit evaluation must have been completed with a grade “C” or above and must be documented on an official transcript.
  • Alternative program college-level course work may be granted transfer credit if successfully completed and documented by an official transcript. Alternative programs include the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and the College Board Advanced Placement Examinations (AP).
