Why did you select Crouse as a place to volunteer?
I’d always wanted to volunteer at Crouse, but as a teacher, I could never find the time. I began volunteering at Crouse right after I retired.
What do you like best about your volunteer experience at Crouse?
I love helping people, which is what I loved about teaching. I enjoy working in the Surgical Waiting Area because it gives me the opportunity to help and interact with families in difficult situations. Given the nature of the Surgical Waiting Area, I never know what I’ll be asked, but I always try to work to be a great resource for our visitors.
