I’ve lived in Syracuse for 50 years and retired as the Director of Volunteers at Crouse Hospital, where I worked for 21 years.

When did you start volunteering at Crouse?
I was hired as Director of Volunteers in 1960, and came back to volunteer in 1995
Why did you select Crouse as a place to volunteer?
With a lot of experience as a volunteer and volunteer director at Crouse, I’ve always been very fond of the people and the hospital’s culture.
What do you like best about your volunteer experience at Crouse?
I enjoy working with and meeting different people. My volunteer position at the Irving Reception Desk allows me to interact with people constantly — and I just love it!
