Breast Cancer Support Group

While family, friends, neighbors and colleagues can provide support and encouragement, there’s nothing like being able to share with others who’ve been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer. Empathy can go a long way.

That’s why Crouse Health is now offering an ongoing monthly breast cancer support group — so women who have gone through the breast cancer experience can interact while staying active and informed. Sessions often include topics recommended by the members of the Pink Therapy Breast Cancer Support Group, such as treatment, staying healthy and active, and participating in local events as a group. Guests or practitioners are sometimes a part of meetings that have included experts in massage therapy, acupuncture, reiki, tai chi, and yoga.
