Critical Care Associates and Crouse Hospital Welcome New Physicians
Mike Maguire, DO, has joined Critical Care Associates and is now an attending physician in Crouse Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Maguire earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine and his master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to do his residency and critical care fellowship at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Dr. Maguire has several presentations at national meetings to his credit.
Physicians Join Crouse Hospitalist Service
Mark Caryl, DO, and Anshu Bais, MD, have joined the hospitalist service of Crouse Hospital. Crouse's hospitalist team provides in-hospital care for patients who do not have a physician or whose physicians do not provide hospital-based services.
Dr. Caryl is a graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has served as a resident physician in intensive care, critical care and emergency services settings and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Association. Dr. Caryl returns to his Central New York roots: he grew up in Fairmount and graduated from West Genesee High School, where he was a member of the Wildcats Marching Band!
Dr. Bais most recently was with the Catholic Health System in Buffalo, where he served as an internist at Mercy Health Center and a hospitalist at United Memorial Health Center. He received his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India, and completed his residency at SUNY Buffalo, where he served as chief resident at Erie County Medical Center. Dr. Bais is board certified in internal medicine.
