Crouse Staff Provided Free Heart Health Screenings July 27

Huntington Screenings July 2011Crouse Hospital staff were out in the community again yesterday fulfilling the hospital's mission of promoting community health. We were honored to join the West Side Community Health & Wellness Fair at the Huntington Family Center on Gifford St. Our staff, including Sue Britt, RN, (in photo) provided free heart health screenings to 83 people during the three-hour event. The screenings included readings for total cholesterol, glucose and blood pressure, plus a personal risk profile. Crouse healthcare providers reviewed the results with those tested.

Since 1919, the Huntington Family Center has provided diverse, year-round programming designed to strengthen individuals and families in a safe, caring environment. Huntington helps each individual to develop and grow to their fullest potential through three areas of programming: Youth Development, Family Development and Adult Development.

Upcoming Free Screenings Provided by Crouse Hospital

Crouse Hospital is dedicated to promoting community health, and one of the most important aspects of that is providing free screenings to give each individual a chance to learn about their own personal health and provide access to tests which can reveal serious medical conditions.
