2017 SADA Charity Preview
Crouse Health Foundation was the grateful recipient of more than $11,400 from the 2017 SADA Charity Preview, an annual event held in conjunction with the Syracuse Auto Dealers Association’s auto show at the Oncenter.
This year’s SADA Charity Preview benefitted 15 local charitable organizations, including the Crouse Health Foundation. In the 19-year history of the event, more than $3.3 million has been donated to charitable causes supporting Central New York children and families.
Crouse’s 2017 SADA Charity Preview proceeds will benefit patients in the Pomeroy Emergency Services Department and other areas of the hospital. For the ED, two “Big Wheel” transport stretchers, which feature a motorized drive system and advanced mobility for moving patients of all sizes, will be purchased.
In addition, Power Hoyer Patient Lifts, which move patients smoothly from the bed to chair, will be obtained for use throughout the hospital. These purchases will not only increase patient satisfaction and improve the patient experience, but will also reduce employee injuries, thereby enhancing employee safety.
SADA 2017 Check DistributionsAs guests mingled among the newest vehicles, they were treated to great food, drinks and musical entertainment. Held the night before the Auto Show opened to the public, attendees leisurely viewed all the latest models Central New York auto dealers have to offer.
