Standards and Guidelines of Practice


Any patient in a New York State hospital has certain rights and responsibilities.

Palliative Medicine follows all hospital policies and procedures directed toward the care of acutely ill patients. The Department maintains compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including:

  • American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine
