Because She Served…
she deserves a night to herself.
We welcome all women veterans and all women who love veterans (family members & partners) to join us for the Because She Served Women’s Night Out at Crouse Health on Thursday, May 10, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., in the Marley Education Center.
Guests will be treated to a presentation on Tending to You: A New Approach to Self Care by Nicole Miller, MS, LMT, from Crouse Health and Ann Canastra, MS, NCC, LMHC, ACS, from the Syracuse VA at 6:00 pm. The night will also include massage therapy, fashion, food, and more. This is a great opportunity to learn methods for self-care and sample services such as massage, Qi Gong, Reiki, and Cranial Sacral Therapy. This event is free for all women veterans, wives/partners of veterans, mothers of veterans, daughters of veterans, and VA providers who work with women and families.
This event is made available through the collective planning between Crouse Health Spirit of Women program, the Syracuse VA, and Clear Path for Veterans. IM Services will be provided by volunteer Integrative Health practitioners from the CNY Community. We thank you and your family for your service.
