Diversity & Inclusion Director
Reporting directly to the CEO, Twiggy Eure serves as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Crouse Health, which she joined in 2016. She is responsible for providing strategic guidance to leadership and management to raise awareness and promote a culture of inclusion across the Crouse Health system, including Crouse Medical Practice and Community Memorial Hospital. She is responsible for all diversity and inclusion education and training, including new employee and the Pomeroy College of Nursing new student orientations. She works with the recruitment team and our community partners in efforts to attract more candidates of diverse backgrounds to Crouse. Additionally, she mentors and assists staff members at all levels with opportunities to advance within the Crouse organization.
Eure serves on various community boards and committees such as InterFaith Works, NYS Birth Equity Improvement Project, Crouse Health’s Age-Friendly Health Systems, and Simply the Best committees. Eure served as Talent Management Coordinator/Personnel Analyst for the Syracuse City School District. She has also held the positions of Practice Manager/Human Resources Manager for St. Joseph’s Physician Health, PC, and Executive Team Member for Destiny USA. Eure holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University and is currently completing the Executive Leadership Doctoral Program at St. John Fisher College.
Diversity & Inclusion Committee
In 2014, Crouse formed the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, comprised of employees from multiple areas as way to bring attention to helping Crouse become a more diverse employer, with a goal to better serve both the organization and the community.
Crouse has also signed on as a participant of the American Hospital Association’s ‘Pledge for Equity’ initiative, which aims to address disparities in care delivery and increase diversity in hospital leadership and governance.
