Twiggy Eure Crouse Diversity & Inclusion Director

Twiggy Eure

Twiggy Eure serves as the Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Crouse Health, which she joined in 2016 to coordinate and guide efforts to define, assess, foster and cultivate diversity and inclusion throughout our health system.

Eure works closely with the hospital’s recruitment coordinators and management team to support their efforts in attracting more candidates of a diverse background to Crouse. She also supports efforts made by the Pomeroy College of Nursing to attract diverse applicants to the college. Additionally, she mentors and assists staff members at all levels with opportunities to advance within the Crouse organization.

Eure most recently served as Talent Management Coordinator/Personnel Analyst for the Syracuse City School District. She has also held the positions of Practice Manager/Human Resources Manager for St. Joseph’s Physician Health, PC, and Executive Team Member for Destiny USA.  A recipient of the 2014 YWCA Diversity Achiever’s Award and graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, Eure holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University.

 

Diversity & Inclusion Committee

In 2014, Crouse formed the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, comprised of employees from multiple areas as way to bring attention to helping Crouse become a more diverse employer, with a goal to better serve both the organization and the community.

Crouse has also signed on as a participant of the American Hospital Association’s ‘Pledge for Equity’ initiative, which aims to address disparities in care delivery and increase diversity in hospital leadership and governance.
