Our Annual Event at the Oncenter to honor Laurence G. Bousquet
The annual Crouse Health Tribute Evening “Flashback, Flash Forward” will honor Laurence G. Bousquet on Friday, October 4, at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, The Oncenter.
Larry and his family have long supported Crouse Health and numerous other community endeavors. In particular, Larry has been a Crouse Health Foundation Board of Directors member since 2005. He served as the Foundation Board Chair from 2015-2018 and is currently the chair of the Nominating Committee. Larry is deeply committed to the Central New York community. In addition to the Crouse Health Foundation board, Larry served as the president of the Hiscock Legal Aid Society, chair of the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Central New York, chair of the Everson Museum of Art, chair of the Rosamond Gifford Foundation, and president and former chair of a study committee on strategic government consolidation for the Onondaga Citizens League, to name a few. Larry serves as the Dunbar Association’s treasurer. He is also a director, treasurer, and co-founder of Central Current, a new home for nonprofit, nonpartisan, and independent journalism.
Larry is an honors graduate of Kenyon College and the Syracuse University College of Law, where he was previously an adjunct faculty member. He is a founding member of Bousquet Holstein PLLC and serves on the Board of Managers. Larry has received well-deserved recognition throughout his career. In 2015, Larry won the Founder’s Award from the Syracuse City School District Education Foundation; in 2016, he received the President’s Award from Catholic Charities and the Everson Medal from the Everson Museum of Art; in 2017, he won the Onondaga County Bar Association’s Distinguished Lawyer award; in 2019, he received the Crouse Health Foundation’s Margot Northup Award; in 2021, Syracuse University College of Law presented Larry with the Syracuse Law Honors Award. The Best Lawyers in America® has included Larry since 2013.
We invite you to the 2024 Crouse Health Tribute Evening, a special event as the Crouse Health Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary. This is a significant milestone in our journey, and we are privileged to have you with us. Tribute Evening 2024 will begin at 6 p.m. and feature a reception, gourmet dinner, and musical entertainment.
Your participation in the Crouse Health Foundation Tribute Evening is not just a celebration but a contribution to support healthcare in our community. The proceeds from this event will be used to support the work of the Crouse Health Foundation, including purchasing special equipment, underwriting new initiatives, and funding educational programs and scholarships.
