Crouse Hospital Named a Top 50 Healthcare Provider for Supply Chain Excellence for the Seventh Year

Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), global company that works with healthcare providers to reduce inefficiencies in the healthcare supply chain, recently recognized Crouse Health as a “GHX Best 50 Customer” for the seventh consecutive year.

GHX provides the e-commerce connection between providers and suppliers for billions of dollars in needed medical supplies.

This award recognizes Crouse for their work in improving operational performance and driving down costs through supply chain automation.

To select the Best 50, GHX evaluated over 4,000 hospital systems in the U.S. and Canada currently connected to the GHX electronic trading exchange. The company identified top performers based on a number of key metrics, such as purchasing and invoice volume, exchange utilization, accuracy and trading partner connections. GHX then selected the 50 healthcare organizations that scored highest across all of these categories during the 2016 calendar year.

Crouse’s multi-year selection has been made possible by the hard work and collaboration of our internal teams, including materials management, purchasing, accounts payable, information technology and pharmacy, working with our vendor partners.

Thank you to everyone on these teams for their dedication to the Crouse strategic focuses of providing the highest quality patient care, financial stewardship and continued growth and service to our community.
