We know staying in the hospital for a long time can be challenging, but the Kienzle Family Maternity Center is here to support you and your family.
Bed Rest
Your doctor may order a form of limited activity or complete bed rest during your hospitalization. Please know, our staff is here to assist you in any way we can.
Ask Your Nurse…
- If you left something at home that you need; we have toiletry kits, books, ipads, etc.
- If you’re able to leave your room we have a patient patio and chapel you may be able to visit.
- If you’re feeling sad, anxious, overwhelmed, we have professionals and services to assist, including social workers, our spiritual care team and psychological professionals.
- If your family needs a place to stay, you can talk to our social work team about available options.

Resources
NICU 101
The Baker Regional NICU offers a weekly class for NICU parents, which antepartum families are invited to attend. The group meets in person and via Zoom on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Please ask your nurse for more information.
