Crouse Hospital Gift Shop

The Crouse Hospital Gift Shop is located in the Memorial building, on the basement level, by the exit to the Clocktower Cafe.

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meals and Beverages

The Clock Tower Café is located on the Memorial Unit, basement level, and is open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Hot meal hours are 10:45 a.m. to 7 p.m.

JAZZMAN’s Cafe & Bakery is located in the Irving lobby, and serves a variety of gourmet coffees. Assorted beverages and homemade baked goods. Hours are Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Vending machines
are located outside the Clocktower Café and in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) waiting area on 3 Irving.

Free Wireless Internet Access

Crouse Hospital is pleased to provide our patients, families and visitors with free wireless Internet service. Crouse Wi-Fi is available throughout the hospital.

Guest Business Center

One of Crouse Hospital’s most focused strategic objectives is improving the patient experience. That, of course, extends to their families and friends, which is why we provides a convenient space for guests to use computers while they’re at Crouse. Located on the first floor of the Memorial unit, down the hall from our Witting Surgical Center waiting area, the Crouse Guest Business Center features four workstations, two with PCs having Internet access and two that allow visitors to use their own devices on our wireless network.

Language Services

If you are hearing impaired or need a language interpreter, please let us know. Special TDD phones are available. Our TDD line is 315-470-7914. Interpretation services for non-English speaking patients are also available upon request.

Palliative Medicine

Crouse Hospital has an Ethics Council and a Palliative Medicine Service to assist and provide support when families and patients face difficult decisions regarding healthcare.

The Palliative Medicine Service team is available for consultation that provides information, education and a perspective about pain management, comfort care, end-of-life care, withdrawal of treatment/life support and/or grief counseling. Palliative Medicine consultations are available by dialing “0” for the hospital operator 24 hours a day.

Spiritual Care

Spiritual beliefs are an important part of the healing process. The Bob Maher Memorial Interfaith Chapel in the Rosamond Gifford Spiritual Care Center is located on the first floor of the West Tower and is always open. Catholic mass, prayer services and ecumenical worship times are offered as posted in the chapel. Chaplains can be reached thorough the hospital operator by dialing “0” for the hospital operator 24 hours a day.

The hospital’s Spiritual Care TV Channel – #83 – is free and runs 24 hours a day with meditation tapes, local worship services and live broadcasts of services at Crouse Hospital.

CaringBridge

Founded in 1997, CaringBridge is a nonprofit organization that connects a patient’s entire community, creating a network of support for everyone involved. Crouse Hospital provides this free service to help make each health journey a little easier.
